Weekly Update: Membership Closes Wednesday, Great American This Weekend, and Our New Indoor Uniforms
WEEKLY UPDATE · SEPTEMBER 27-OCTOBER 4, 2026
Another weekend of racing is behind us, and this week is a full one. Here is what club families need to know.
Membership closes Wednesday. Our middle school athletes race at the Great American XC Festival on Friday. And the indoor uniform deadline has been pushed back to Saturday, October 3.
We also learned that last week's email never reached some families, so the uniform reveal and the rest of the season calendar are included again below.
RACE RECAP: CENTRAL CHILDREN'S HOME
Saturday was a great day of racing in Oxford. The club came away with two division wins, and every TATC athlete finished in the top five of their division.
Russell Dallas Jr. (13-14, 4000m): 1st place, 14:48.7.
Raelyn Terry (11-12, 3000m): 1st place, 12:38.1.
Zairalys Cox (11-12, 3000m): 2nd place, 13:30.6.
William Dallas (11-12, 3000m): 3rd place, 13:56.7.
Clara Washington (9-10, 3000m): 5th place, 16:35.2.
Zenaira Cox (8 and under, 2000m): 4th place, 10:40.7.
MEMBERSHIP CLOSES WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
This is the final call for club families. The Founding Family rate is available through Wednesday, September 30, and after that membership moves to standard pricing. If your athlete's membership is not finalized yet, please take care of it before the deadline.
Need help? Email coachruss@tatrackclub.com or info@tatrackclub.com, message us on Band, or give us a call. We are happy to walk you through it.
THIS WEEKEND: GREAT AMERICAN XC FESTIVAL
Our middle school club athletes head to the Great American XC Festival on Friday, October 2 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Coaches will post individual race times and details on Band.
Several of our high school athletes will also be back at Great American on Saturday running for their schools, so if you are in the area, come cheer for them too. Both days will be live-streamed, so family and friends can watch from anywhere.
NEW INDOOR UNIFORMS
Indoor season will be here before we know it, and we are excited to finally show off the new Total Athlete Track Club uniforms. We had a couple of our athletes model them so you can get a feel for the fit before ordering.
The indoor uniform order deadline has been extended to Saturday, October 3. Orders go through the order form on our website. For sizing reference, Camic is wearing a men's medium and Francesca is wearing a women's XS. Please double check your athlete's sizing before you submit the form.
LOOKING AHEAD
There is still plenty of cross country left, but indoor season is right around the corner. As always, not every athlete competes at every meet. Coaches will send entry information, deadlines, athlete selections, and travel details as each competition gets closer.
